Cynthia
Ann Duszynski graduated with a degree in Piano Pedagogy from Carroll College
in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This degree specialized her in piano teaching
along with an emphasis in art.
She is active
in the music world with her collaboration in composing a civil war song
that is currently being circulated for possible publication in the movie
industry. As a vocalist, Cynthia is very involved in performing at
weddings and playing piano at various restaurants and hotels for various
functions. She is Currently on a lecture circuit with the Wisconsin
Music Teachers Association and has lectured in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Her lectures include: Looking Forward to Learning Theory, Qualities
of an Effective Adjudicator: Is This You? And Electrify Good Home
Practice Techniques. Cindy also maintains a rigorous judging schedule,
which involves 10-15 days out of the year.
Mrs.
Duszynski currently has 30 private piano students weekly, all year round.
She began teaching at the age of 14 and has had up to 76 students at a
time.
Cindy is State
and Nationally Certified and holds active memberships in the following
music organizations: Associated Piano Teachers, National Guild of
Piano Teachers, Music Teachers National Association, Wisconsin Music Teachers
Association, WMTA Greater Milwaukee Chapter, Wisconsin School of
Music Association, National Federation of Music Clubs and the Milwaukee
Music Teachers Association.
She has held
board positions as President and Vice President in the Wisconsin Music
Teachers Association.

* Accompanist
for Young Americans, a dancing and singing group from Milwaukee, WI.
*
Named Outstanding Senior at Eisenhower High School in 1976.
* Vocalist,
pianist with the Carroll College Carrolleers, a worldwide touring group.
* Vocalist/Pianist
for 20 years in Christian band called the Potters Clay.
* Member
of a 16 piece group that traveled Europe through the Friendship of the
Ambassadors.
* Pianist
for the Bob Hope Talent Search in 1977.
* Vocalist
and pianist with the band, The Inn Crowd.
* Named
Outstanding College Student by the Outstanding College Students of America
Assn in 1990.
* Selected
to appear in the 2000 Millennium Edition of Whos Who of American Women
* Named
the Outstanding Private Piano Teacher in Wisconsin, by her colleagues through
the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association in 2001.
* Developer
and coordinator of LOVE P.A.T.S (Practice a thons) a local community
service project that enables children to earn money and by digital pianos
for those children living in hospitals. This organization raised
over $10,000.00 the first year for Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin.
